Cathy Glendenning was born in Washington, PA on August 01, 1956. She lived her life wide open and without reservation or regret. She had the heart of a lion. She was an accomplished professional, a witty conversationalist, and the best kind of friend, one who always had your back. She is much loved and will always be remembered by all her friends and family.

I knew Cathy many years ago when we attended The University of Pittsburgh. We became great friends. We lost touch after I moved to New Hampshire and then to Baltimore, MD. The other day she ran across my mind so I thought I would do an internet search for her. I found her obituary and this broke my heart. Cathy helped me in my coming out and I will forever thank her for this amazing gift. I wish I would have known about her sickness and passing before now. Cathy you will forever have a place in my heart. I only regret letting life get in the way and losing touch with you. Debbie I hope you are doing wonderful and enjoying your life without Cathy. I know she will always be a part of you. Jose
